Barber & Beauty Tools – Looking Your Best Every Day
Keeping customers coming back requires a barber or beautician to have the skills necessary to meet the demands of each and every individual that walks through their door. It also requires the proper barber and beauty tools. Without the right equipment, it can be difficult if not impossible to deliver a high quality and professional looking haircut. Scissors, razors, clippers, and trimmers are some of the basic tools that every professional hairstylist should have. This means having tools that are high quality so that they will provide years of dependable service without breaking or dying in the middle of a haircut.
It is not just professionals that can benefit from having high quality barber and beauty tools, however. Professional quality equipment can make getting ready at home a much simpler and quicker ordeal. Cheap clippers and trimmers can be a nightmare to use since they seem to be better at painfully pulling hair out than cutting it. Cheap products simply do not provide the same high quality results as professional quality tools. Keeping a haircut looking good or a beard trimmed just right can reduce the number of trips to the barbershop or beauty salon and have a person looking their best every day in between visits.
Professional hairstylists understand that a regular pair of household scissors is just not going to cut it when it comes to delivering the perfect haircut. Professionals use scissors and shears that are designed specifically to cut hair. Of course, even the best shears will eventually need to be sharpened and they can be brought back to like new condition if they are sent off to be professionally reconditioned. The same is true for electric razors, trimmers, and clippers. Even the best barber and beauty tools will occasionally need some maintenance.
There are retailers available that not only sell barber and beauty tools but they service them as well. This type of one-stop shop can save a person money, time, and frustration since they can have their equipment maintained and repaired by the same people that sold it to them in the first place. Whether an individual cuts hair for a living or for their family, having the right tools can make the entire process a lot more pleasurable for everyone. Professionals and amateurs alike can all benefit by having the right tools for the job. High quality and dependable products will have everyone looking their best day in and day out.

Frequently Asked Questions...
What type of electric clippers should I be looking for to clip my Jersey (cow) yearling for shows?
Ideally, I would like to be able to rent or borrow clippers for the season, as I don't know if I will need them the next year, but don't think that is feasible. So in order to shop for some clippers, I need to know my stuff!
How many speeds are necessary?
Do I really need all the different sizes of blades?
What size of shearing head?
What blade size is most often used?
I am looking at many that advertise that they stay oiled for over 100 hours, or they can keep working all day long: I don't need those! I just need clippers that I can fit my calf easily with every 2 weeks or so during show season.
I am new at this, so any answers you can give me are fabulous!
Thanks
Answer:
I use 2 sets of clippers/
I use the big Sumbeam/ Oster Clipmasters for the body and small Oster A-5 for the trim (face and legs).
You can find both for good prices on ebay.
