How to skin Cow King?
After you have defeated Baal, you can clean the Secret Cow Level. To go there, start a game, in the same difficulty that you ended - killing last boss will give you possibility to enter secret. Using the Waypoints, travel back to the Rogue Encampment.
Put a Tome of Town Portal, and Wirt's Leg hunted before in Tristram inside Horadric Cube and then transmute it.You will see a red portal, which will lead you to the Cow King Farm. Beyond you will be attacked by bunches of cows that holds massive weapons like bardiches or voulges and wants to slay you with them. Area of level isn't too big, but there are an marvellous number of cows inside. You may also spot several Champion Hell Bovines, and will spot The Cow King, who is resistant to magic and lightning enchanted.
The best way to loot them after killing is hitting them by skills and magic that effects aoe like as sorceress' chain lightning and amazon's lightning fury. Great way is also slaying them by carrying hellfire torch and using skills like frenzy. In hell difficulty cows have immunity for fire, so don't go there with your fire sorceress - you won't do them a single scratch, instead, go there with characters that can kill them without any problem.
Secret Cow Level will give you bunch of experience for new characters, that you taxi'ed through Diablo, so don't be scary and come to games like "cows here go" to leech - fast leveling from level 25 to 40 in four runs? Why not? Running at cowruns are safier way to create characters than Diabloruns and give as much experience as Diablo.
At the original version of Diablo, you can clear the Cow Level multiple times; unfortunately, Game creators were renewed this in subsequent updates to the game, so that now the level can only be cleared once per difficulty. HOWEVER if you don't defeat the Cow King. If you manage to avoid killing the Cow King, you will be able to clear farm.
In Cow King Farm you may found lot of expensive items like uniques, gold or runes for runewords, because drop rate here is very high. You can found special Set in Cow Level - Cow King Leathers - a hat - Cow King's Horns, studded leather - Cow King's Hide and boots - Cow King's Hooves.
